Need engine hoist in Orange County ASAP!!!
The damn pinging that Toyota said was not a problem and completely normal has finally taken out a rod and rod bearing so I need to swap in a replacement motor ASAP. I am not going back to Toyota as they coud not fix the original problem why would I trust them to fix it now. I've done so many things to my car myself I figure I can swap in a replacement motor and probobly do a better job in the end. Plus the experience of swapping my motor will allow me to build up the messed up motor later on and swap it back in myself.
I have a motor located and will be tossing it in the back of my girls eclipse but seriously need to gain access to a cherry picker aka engine hoist so I can pull my f-ed up motor out and drop in the replacement. I know some places rent them out but I am in serious lack of funds after having to buy a motor and extra parts to swap it in that I can't afford to rent one for a week.
Please Please Help a Toyota owner in need!!!
