USA exhaust leak

Hey guys this kind of a stupid question but i figured id ask to be sure. Would an exhaust leak on a turbo charged car cause the turbo not to spool up to full boost?

where the muffler connects to the midpipe. To me it seems to far down the exhaust line(if u get what i mean) to casue any power loss, but then again thats y im askin the question.

It wouldn't cause your turbo not to spool..... but you should definately get the leak fixed.

Cool

Not of it's downstream.
If it's upstream of the turbo, the spool will be longer, and sometimes you'll see some minor boost surges.

Thanx. I'm actually lookin into either going with custom exhaust or aftermarket. Problem is i want to stay with dual exhaust and its hard to find aftermarket in dual at least where i live.
