Wheel Spacers

I've been to H&R's site and the wheel spacer available for camry is DRS in 5mm, 15mm and 20mm.

I feel so pissed that Japanese cars aren't like the Europeans... their hub design is PERFECT for spacers.

Now does anyone know more info about wheel spacers on Japanese cars? Any resourceful links?

The only reason I used a spacer on my 2 rear wheels is because a 205 tire rubs against the top of my strut.. I think mine is a 10 or 15mm. There's also much bigger spacers to push your wheel out to flush with the body of the car and apparently give you better handling?

But what's your question Dickson??

im actually saving up to get those cos the ones i have rite now are 1/4" inch spacers for the IS300 rims and they fit perfect its just that at high speeds it vibrates too much so not very comforting... the HnR spacers are the ones that i found was pretty good for our applications... i am goin to try for the 40mm spacer to give my car a nicer wider and lower stance... then maybe i can use the 225 size rims with the 18's or 17's no problems...

if u got any more questions just holla back or icq me .. lates

The problem with 10mm or 15mm spacer is that the nut is not screwed in fully into your bolts when there's a spacer between it. This will put extra stress on the studs and they will wear off and need to be replaced before they break and your wheel falls off (sorry I'm a bit exagerating here. ).

Can you even imagine what a 40mm spacer will do to the appearance of your car? That'll reduce the wheel offset to less than 10mm...!

I actually got them from the place I bought the rims and tires from Wheels Direct, I had a huge argument with them after they told me that the price I got includes hardware and installations. But they found out that I needed spacers after, so they had to put them on as hardware. I don't think they're cheap though, they're like 12-20$ each!
