Displacement, pistons, and compression....

Heres a nice topic for you guys. In what ways do a boaring (spelled right?) the engine and putting in bigger pistons affect compression. How do you crunch the numbers to get the desired compression?

If you increase pistons size the compression stays the same but the volume of the combustion chamber is increased.To increse compression you need a piston that is not just bigger but taller or that has some sort of dome or surface that would lift in the center.Increasing piston size will increase power and so does increasing compression but with that comes the fact that the gas will not ignite like usual.Anyways i hope that anwsers some of the stuff you wanted to know.

so compression changes only when the profile of the piston is indented or raised? kewl thnx for the info
