Dull Paint.

OK.. so my 89 corolla GTS's paint is not the greatest anymore, and I'm thinking of putting a few $$$$ into a new paintjob hopefully next spring.. in the meantime the paint looks too dull and there's no shine left on the hood or roof anyone know anything out there that will at least restore the shine until the new paintjob $$$$ are in my pocket?
I tried the Turtle Wax color match stuff (my car is red) but that didn't shine for long (2 days at most) there's gotta be something better.. any suggestions will be appreciated.

Meguirs Body Scrub will remove most of the oxidation, its good stuff. After using it you might change your mind about the new paintjob.

he's right, that stuff is great, i kid u not, u could use the body scrub and maybe a clay bar also, the mothers clay bar is the best.....i bet you if you use both...and then a good wax it'll look as good as new

oooo... hehe.. ok i seez.. alright.. im gonna look for the meguiar's body scrub..

so should i body scrub first, then use the color match, then wax(any wax suggestions? I'm guessing meguiar's is as good as some ppl say it is)
or should i skip the color match and go for a wax after the body scrub?

hmmm... ill do the body scrub first.. then see what happens.

Take Deep's word, nothing works better than wash, Body scrub, polish and then wax. It's the best combination.

You need allot of elbow grease to see results though.

Zaino is probably the best even though i never used it, just read about it. I wish they sold in stores, i don't like mail order.
