AE86 GTS rear end into SR5...help needed

little backgroud first, my mech exp extends as far as the 20v engine swap onto my 86. links and pics prob help out a lot since i learn big time from pics

Hey all, i'm picking up a GTS lsd rear end, gts transmission (i know...but mine's messed up) and the gts driveshaft this friday and was wondering that apart of it being close to a direct bolt on swap, what do i need to do w/ the brake lines, differential fluid, if the driveshaft is necesary, if the gts tranny will bolt onto my sr5 bellhousing (i think yes just need confirmation 'cause its the same tranny)

Also is there anything i should be replacing like bushings and what not? OH, great chance to replace my clutch but i want to know if i should use a 16v or an Ae92 clutch since i'm running the 20v flywheel.

My main concerns: have 0 knowlege on getting the transmission off (slavy cylinder/clutch fork proccess) and keeping it off me (my friends father, a mech, bolted/unbolted it during the swap)....same thing with the rear end, but i know its easier because its only bolts and no hydraulics involved.

If you got any other suggestions pleeeease let me know, i was thinking of takin this opportunity to move the slave to the passenger side, but not sure how to do. A little crash course on transmission will come in handy....HOWSTUFFWORKS.COM here i come!

THANK YOU ALL in advance, i'll be helping out in the corolla forum meanwhile

ask some of the guys over at DORIKAZE.com alot of the guys have taken the whole car apart and rebulit most of the stuff.

the tranny back should be a bolt on, but you will need the acompaning clutch master for that tranny. and you will need to get the gts master brake and slave. i think booster too. to use the rear disc at its max.
