ack...moaning calipers

rebuilt my rears..and now they moan :roll: :roll: ..it ain't like a squeaky sound..it's a lowwww groan.

happens when i ease on the brakes. when i really step on em, they go away.

and pedal feel is not as stiff as before..i just put in front metalmasters on tuesday, and friggin CT pads for the back on wed.

should be bedded in by now... any idea guys? thanks

Its a good idea when installing new break pads to slightly grind off a bit of the inner curve of the pad, on a bit of an angle. This eleminates the initial squeaking process that they go through. Although the moaning sounds like the calipers. One of the piston boots are gone on one of my rears and it moan's. It's a lot worse in the rain, i can feel the vibrations its so bad.

OEM toyota pads are slanted on both ends of the pad from the factory they're pretty good pads even for racing.
