Throttle body spacer

I cant get any info on the tacoma forum, so I thought I would ask you guys. Does anyone have any experience with throttle body spacers. Are they worth the money, do they really work? thanks in advance!!

I have seen those on manny a modded 4runner. I thought it was just an easy way to add water injection, do they do something else?

nothing on newer toyota engines.

NOTHING AT ALL.

NOT A THING.

therye supposed to increase top end (larger intake chamber) but its kinda useless with toyotas variable intake systems (TVIS and ACIS).

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.
