Could I use an MSD Ign Adv box?
I have an ES 250 which has a distributor that is electronicly controlled. I'd like to try and advance the ignition outside of the ecu. I've tried advancing the distributor manually but I don't think it helps much, I think the ecu still over rides the manual advance.
Hm just thought of putting the car on the smog machine at work and put the timing light on it to see if I am affecting it....?
So I see these MSD boxes that you can control the advance from the drivers seat. Does anyone think I could use one of these to control my advance?
