blower motor

I have a toyota corolla 98 that I also bought new and the same thing happened to my air/heat. I wanted to buy the blower motor and replace it, but I don't know where it is on the car. I can't afford to go to a mechanic and I have a small child that has to ride in the car with me with no heat which would be fine if we lived in California, but we live in Illinois. I want to replace it, but I'm just not sure where to start. I saw this thread and the answer to the question says sent to tech??? Can someone please help me by telling me where it is on the car or how I find the reply to the question originally sent? Any help someone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Audrey

If you are trying to find the blower motor for the AC and heat it is in the passenger side footwell. It is basically behind the golvebox. If you open the passenger door and lay in the floor board you can see a circular plastic assembly that has three or four wires coming out of it. this is the blower motor. There are three or four screws that hold it in and then you can replace it. You may have to remove some under dash covers to accomplish this. But it is a fairly easy job.
