Sensor Locations

The A/F Sensors are located off of the exhaust manifolds. Bank 1 Sensor 1 is located on the rear manifold (hard to get to). Bank 2 Sensor 2 is located on the front manifold(Easy to get to). The sensors thread into the manifolds, off of the sensor are 4 wires that lead up to a connector. At this connector you can disconnect it and test the internal heater of that sensor. Pins B+ and HT. The resistance should be .8 to 1.4 (cold) and 1.8 to 3.2 (hot).

I'm at the point of trying to disconnect the connector. I know there is a release but I can't figure out how to release it. Maybe there is a speacial tool or something?

A Guy at my autoparts store suggested removing the sensor and cleaning it before purchasing another sensor. This could save me $300.

I hope this helps you. Let me know if you figure out how to disconnect the connector.

Thanks
