of course, unless you like it to stay on. It's just like any other cleaner, with one exception, its non-caustic, much cheaper, and kicks ass always.

Yeah, don't let it sit too long. In higher concentrations it can leave behind a residue, particularly on plastics.

Speaking of residues, I've got some light spotting on my wheels from what I think was some oversprayed Black Magic tire foam that I USED to use. I've tried using lights cleaners and even Zymol cleaner wax, but nothing seems to lift it. Anything else worth trying without damaging the clearcoat on my wheels?

I was think about using my Meguiar's quik detailing clay kit once it arrives.

Any thoughts?

Was it spray foam? Another reason why I recommend the Tire GEL.

Maybe the heat from hot wheels baked it on. You should be able to remove it with clay or polish (not wax). You can also try Goo Gone. It won't hurt the clear coat. But Don't use Goof Off; it's too strong.

Once you've got it clean, put a coat of wax on your wheels.

Keep me posted.

Thanks PB,

Yeah, it was the foam. I switched over to Meguiar's tire gel last week (great stuff!) I'll try the Goo Gone first and then the clay if that doesn't work.

Thanks again

Ok guys. I actually read the entire thread this time before posting. LOL. Just kidding!

I would like to know where I can get Simple Green. I went to my local Target and didn't find any!

Where can I go and pick some up locally?!

Thanks.

Try smart and final or costco, sam's club, walmart. One of these should carry it.

Simple Green is the #1 (most used) degreaser in the world. Our military has a huge contract with them too!

Well I can't say anything yet as to the performance on simple green but the aerospace is pretty good stuff. Looks nice on the dash and isn't slippery like other brands. I haven't had time yet to use the simple green cause I've been pullin graveyards at the hospital. Maybe tomorrow but so far so good.

It depends on much you dilute it. Higher concentrations yeild more HP. But don't over-do it; you can burn up the transmission.
