Simple Green questions

I just bought some aerospace and some simple green. The simple green came in a spray bottle but it needs to be mixed with water. What ratio should I mix and how should I go about doing this? I mean do I need to find an emplty spray bottle and mix it that way or should I just wet down whatever I'm going to be using the simple green on and just spray it right on without mixing? Thanks for the hlelp. Z

I recommend mixing it 3:1 (3 being the water). Get another bottle or an empty milk jug and mix it. I buy it in the big gallon concentrated and mix it into spray bottles.

Find another bottle and premix before using.

You can use any type of large bottle (2 liter, 40oz, handle) to store it in.

Yeah, see if you can find an empty 2 liter bottle or something. And then pour out 2/3 of the Simple Green into the 2 liter, then fill the Simple Green bottle with water. Then when your Simple Green spray bottle is empty, just pour in the concentrated Simple Green from the 2 liter, and then dilute.

Pouring out 2/3 should make it plenty strong. You could probably pour out 3/4 and it would still work great.

Heavy Cleaning / Degreasing = Full Strength
All Purpose Cleaning = 10:1
Light Cleaning = 30:1 to 50:1
Reflective Surfaces = 150:1

This should be on the back of the container.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info folks...also do you recommend simple green for cleaning? Tires? Fender wells? On the front of the truck? Will it hurt the paint if mixed properly? Thanks again

I use un-diluted Simple Green on my wheels, tires, and bugs on the front of the truck and windshield. Don't worry, it's good to go.

So you just spray it on, let it sit for about 30 sec and then wash it off and it's good to go? I've heard many good things about this product which is why I bought some, I just want to use it the right way. Thanks for the suggestions

Same here.

Simple Green has never harmed anything I've used it on. Pretty much the perfect cleaning solution, IMO.

All dirt marks or stains inside of the bed....

You can use a little in the laundry for clothes with oil/grease instead of detergent. Works great on break dust on wheels as mentioned above^

Do you have to wash it off after you apply it? Like to your wheels and such.
