spray on wax

I used Kit spray on wax in bewteen waxings on my old white truck and it really had a nice shine. I just went to my auto parts store and cannot find it would the Mequiars Next Generation spray on wax be better than the nano wax?

I've never tried their Spray-on waxes, but as far as real liquid wax, Nanowax seems to be more durable than NXT. I don't know if their spray version would have similar results or not.

spray waxes aren't worth their money, yea their cheap but they don't work to well. I have a bottle but i only use it on my windows so it'll sheet water better and my tube steps because i'm too scared about getting liquid wax stuck in the crevices of the pad. The bottle tells you reapply it every wash so that alone tells you how long it last.

I sometimes use a carnauba based liquid spray to rejuvinate my wax job. It really adds some moisture and depth, plus it's good to use if you need to clean off some dust at the same time. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/autopia/son-210.html

I always got great results using One Grand "Show Off" detailing spray between washes. It's enriched with carnauba (But not a true spray wax) and always seemed to make the wax last that much longer . My supply is finally up after buying a gallon of the stuff a couple years back. Wondering if there's something better similarly priced on the market that can possibly give better results??

Any other fans of the One Grand line of detailing products out there?

Question: How often do you guys wax. I've had my Taco for nine months and applied liquid wax after washing each time but think it's about time for a "real" wax job.

"Real" wax job, every 6 months. Done mine twice so far and again fairly soon.
Wash, Clay Bar, Wash, Klasse AIO, 3 coats Klasse SG, Meguiars #26. Takes a while but looks great.

Wash and wax, every two weeks. Good wash and a coat of Meguiar's #26.

I don't like the spray on wax. It isn't worth my time to apply it since it doesn't last long enough. I'd rather take that time to wash and dry the truck if it's dusty.

Ive got some Meguiare's NXT Gen spray on wax, but it's only good if you are in a hurry and want a quick shine. Nothing looks better than a couple of coats of some Gold Class by Meguiare's or Mother's Calif Gold

Never.

Yes I'm that lazy.

I did my black 99 Silverado with Zymol 200MPH wax (that was the name), that a Zymol dealer friend of mine sold me for half price. I paid $80. It lasted forever but was not easy to apply.

Is Meguiars Gold Class Liquid any good? I have some and need to wax it. I've had the truck for 6 months now.

Actually, spray waxes do what there intended to do. The bad rap comes from people who think they can replace traditional waxing/sealing, with a spray wax. There great if used monthly, and should help provide that base coat with some protection. Use quick detailers after washes, and spray waxes monthly. There great for wheels also, helps deter that brake dust from accumulating.
As for the Meg NXT booster Wax, my spit has greater durability, and its easier to use....just my $.02.
I would opt for the Mothers Reflectons over the Megs or Eagle One.....
