Since there is now a dedicated detailing forum, you might want to lock your threads on your detailing tutorials so they won't become a catchbasin for every detailing question. Now people can create and contribute to other threads for that....

Its great having this new forum! I just started on my 2002 Dad's Buick Rondvous today. I made it through the wash and claybar before I petered out. Tomorrow I need to wetsand his touch up paint repairs then its on to SFX-2 and Klasse AIO if I have the energy. Then Klasse SG later. His car is my "test" vehicle and my penance for making him move it out of the carport and into an uncovered parking spot. I gotta keep that Taco sheltered!!

Glad to know I can pop on here to ask questions if I have any problems along the way.

Novataco...weather is great in SouthFla. No rain in like 3 weeks...I just jinxed myself of course.

If you have it, it will probably take a more agressive polish like SFX1 to remove the scratches from the wetsanding process. SFX2 might work, but it could take a lot of applications. I wouldn't use and sandpaper rougher than 2000 grit if you don't have any real agressive polishes to use on it afterward.

Instead of having to order more polish online you might be able to find locally: Meguiars Heavy Cut Polish (professional line)

If you have one in your area, check NAPA for the wet sandpaper and polish.
