Tip Of the Day (4-10-06)

The best tool that you can have for protecting your vehicle is a Garage. If you're like a lot of people I know, and you have a garage full of junk, while your cars sit outside, Shame on you. Bite the bullet and Rent a storage unit. Get that junk out of there!

Inside a garage, your car will stay a lot cleaner, and the wax job will last longer without the sun beating down on it constantly. Plus no dew or frost, which will make water spots on your paint. In a garage your vehicle isn't as hot in the summer and cold in the winter when you get in to drive it in the morning.

that's true! I loved to park my car in the garage when i was finished waxing. But now it's full of food/tools/ misc. stuff. and a FEMA trailer is blocking the entrance so no more garage

When I moved in with my wife she used to park her car in the driveway, while a two car garage with a covered car port sat full of junk. I think I yanked 2 refirgerators, 1 stand up freezer (still running), 2 dryers (one was full of motor oil), 2 washing machines, 1 stove, 1 wood burning stove, and the car port was full of garbage. I can't stand clutter, although the garage still needs work.

Yeah, there ain't much you can do about that. My truck would probably get keyed if I put a car cover over it at work. Some people can get mean and jealous when you take care of your vehicle better than they do.

If you have to park outside, try not to park under a tree. The sun is bad enough on your paint, but bird poo or a falling limb can be worse.

A Cavalier is keeping your Taco outside? You need to have a talk with your brother.
