apply wax before putting yakima rack on?
What should I do before putting a Yakima rack on? Apply wax? Just wash? Any preference on meguiar vs. mothers - or other easily available shampoo and wax? Don't have time to order recommended products and they don't stock Klasse or P21s in Madison, WI.

Just wash it and wax it. Meguiars Gold Class car wash, and Meguiars #26 paste wax should be available at some auto stores.
