Wash your vehicle in the early morning or late evening. The sun is less harsh, and you'll have a lot more time to correctly wash your vehicle without worrying about water spots so much.

Try and keep the car out of the sun if at all possible. Polishing and waxing a hot surface is miserable, and oftentimes doesn't give good results, as it's much harder for the product to settle in.

One of the few product lines that can easily be applied and removed in the sun is PoorBoys products.

You guys in the sunny states might want to look into getting some PoorBoys stuff.
