Tip of the Day (4-21-06)

Here's a good video to watch on how to detail your exterior. This guys prices and products are outrageous, but his technique is good.

Actually, won't the grease and oils in his hands mess up the wax?

Anyways, his techniques are not exactly perfect, but at least he's making a pretty penny from every car that passes through there.

Naw, your hands don't have high enough concentrions of oil. Wax is made up of natural oils, which will dry and and can be wiped off. The oils from your hands can be wiped off with the natural oils.

The wax he was using has enzymes that react with air and heat. This is the wax he was using. http://www.zymol.com/vintage2.htm

I've used it before. It's amazing, but not worth the price, unless you're into the business like he is, IMO.
