Canada Klasse

Hey guys...I've decided on using the Klasse. I ordered the all-in-1 and the glaze....as well as the pure carnuba wax...my question is...how much time before I can do the next step?

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Klasse all-in-1 polish
4. Klasse glaze/sealer
5. Carnuba wax

after applying the all-in-1 how long do I have to wait until applying the glaze/sealer...and then how much time until I can apply the carnuba wax? Can I do it all in one day? back to back???

thanx
......oh and than you Pb for suggesting this stuff...you are a big help

24 hours apart is recomended for all of em. Anything sooner and there won't be any noticeable effects. If anything you would just be scraping it off / ruining the effect.

Wash
Clay
Klasse AIO

Klasse Sealant Glaze after 24 hrs

Carnauba after 24 hrs

Apparently from what I've read from posts on here you need to wait at least 24 hours between the time you apply the Klasse AIO and the Klasse sealant glaze. Not sure how long with the carnuba wax though.

I'd throw in another wash between steps 2 and 3. I did my Tacoma last year waiting ONLY 24 hrs between applications of AIO, then 3 layers of glaze, and then wax, so it took about 5 days. This year I started earlier so it was weather permitting and was about 3 days between applications and it looks a lot deeper (still 3 layers of glaze). I heard that 24 hours is the MINIMUM and will cloud up if you layer it sooner.

They do tell you to wait 24-48 hours between AIO and SG. Also wait I think they say wait 24 hours between coats of SG. You'd better wash between any of the steps that you have to wait to do. In that time you will get some dust on the surface and that would just get mixed in with your Klasse if you don't start with a nice clean vehicle.

Today I finally start detailing on my truck. It is 6 weeks old and I am doing the following...

today and tomorrow:
1. wash
2. claybar
3. polish if necessary (sonus #2) in spots if I see any problems
4. klasse aio

3rd day or perhaps take another day to wait for AIO to set depending on time I finish:
5. wash
6. klasse sg

every other day for 3 coats:
7. wash
8. one coat of klasse sg

That will give me three or four coats of SG on top of the claybar and any areas that needed polishing. I want to make sure the paint is protected from the hot Florida sun and salt air, tree sap, bird droppings etc.

Edit: Excellent link dana, very informative reading!

Since the AIO is a cleaner/polisher, why would you need to wait 24hrs before applying the SG. I understand about the need to wait in between coats of the SG.

The klasse is also an acrylic synthetic wax. If you don't allow the recomended time for the wax to harden, all you'll be doing is just swirling it around on your paint, defeating both the purpose and the look of it.

AIO does have cleaners in it, but it also leaves behind an acrylic coating. It needs a day or so for it to harden, before you add anything on top of it.

You can wash after claying, and before polishing, but I don't think it's necessary. I don't see how you can get the paint any cleaner, if you clayed properly.
