IS Wheels Need Cleaning..Help!!!

I picked up a pair of IS wheels this past week and need to find a way to clean them up. If thats even possible. Anyone have any tips on what to use or do. Or last restort who to send them to?

Here is a couple photos of what the wheel looks like..

what the hell is that shit? Have you tried wiping it off, or will it not rub off?

looks like some tar... theres gata be some heavy duty wheel cleaner out there somewhere maybe some simple green and a abrasive pad?

That's the thing I dont know what that shit is!!!!...I tried simple green and that did not work...I took scoth bright pad and tried it on a small area but that right away scuffed up the alloy rim..Just thought maybe someone else has had this bird shit looking crust on their wheels and were succesful getting it off...

Is there a clear coat on those because it looks like corrosion under it. Good luck with that one.

Looking at them closer I believe their is a clear coat. Guess the only way is to strip them.

That's some pretty bad pitting. A Mother's mini powerball and some polish might help, but I think you should just send them to get resurfaced. Check the phonebook or online. There is usually places that will blast the finish and re-coat them. Check for "wheel repair".

Yeah that's what I am thinking. Hopefully I will find someone that does a good job in my area. This was the worst rim of the 4.
