Black 05 Matrix, ideas?

I just got it and decided to put it through my own personal detail. I usually did a 6-8 hour detail on the Civic I used to own and that was Silver. This is my first black car. There was no residues or anything of the sort when I got it, so I went over the car with the following:

Meguiar's Scratch X
Meguiars Step 1 Paint Cleaner

Next comes Meguiar's Step 2 Paint Polish, then Meguiar's Gold Class Wax, then the Simoniz bottles I have from when I worked at the dealership.

I am getting ready to throw on the Step 2 and wax tonight but was wondering if there is anything else that can help with swirl marks. The Step 1 made a huge difference but there are still some that tend to be seen at just the right lighting and angle. Any opinions and or ideas would be great. Let me know.

Just give it a good polish before you wax. It might take several applications to remove the swirls. Polish is what removes the swirls. Do you have a buffer? If the polish can't remove all the swirls then you can use some Meguiars Glaze to help hide 'em.

On my black Echo, I used ScratchX to remove the swirls. Then used ColorX then NXT wax.
