Best "Pinstripe" Removal Product?

I took my truck on its maiden 4 wheeling excursion a couple weeks back and some of the trails were a bit narrow. I now have some custom "pinstripes" from bushes that I would like to try and get rid of.

Most of them are just on the surface in the clear coat, but there are some that might have gone a bit deeper.

I'm looking for something to try and apply by hand and if that doesn't work I'm going to invest in a Porter Cable 7424 and try my luck with that.

Anyone know of a good scratch removal product I can try out?

I've already tried Meguire's Scratch X and it seem to work fairly well. Just wondering if there is something out there that is known to be better.

Thanks!

Jel

YOur more then likely going to need a PC. Dont forget to get some pads and polish. Look over at autogeek.net for some good package deals on the PC.
Id say your not going to be able to remove those by hand with OTC products.

Those light scratches from tree branches are usually easy to buff out with a PC. You could use any light cutting polish from Meguiars, Menzerna, or PoorBoys, or you might want to look into Sonus SwirlBuster Polish and SwirlBuster pad. I really like the SwirlBuster polish. It's kinda expensive, but well worth it, IMO. It's one of the best products I've ever used. http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-450.html

Thanks for the tips guys. From 3 feet away you can't even see the scratches, but once you get up close there they are.

Looks like I'm gonna get a PC 7424 soon!
