Gen6 How do I clean the rear wheel wells on the 07' Camry?

See the rear wheel wells are made of like this carpety-material. And there's a lot of dirt on them. I'm afraid that molds will come if I hose them down. My idea right now is to take a horsehair brush and brush off all the dirt, rinse it, and then dry it with a hairdryer or a towel. Should I do that? TIA.

hmmmm....if your afraid to hose them down...what will you do when it rains? i havent seen the wells of an 07...but i can't imagine that some water would hurt or lead to mold...this is a car designed to drive in rain, mud, snow or whatever it may encounter. hose and brush sound like a good idea.

I use scrubbin bubbles on all the wheel wells I've cleaned. They work wonders.
