Nu-Finish once a yr wax - Any good?

Hey guys,

I gave the Nufinish once a year car wax (the one in orange bottle). I used this well over a year back on my white taurus and seemed pretty good. I could not tell much because of the white color.

Anyways, I now have a black 2002 Camry XLE. It does have some swirl marks but the clear coat is good and water instantly beads off.... but anyways I still want to wax it since its mew new car...

So when in walmart today, i got this Meguiar's NXT generation SPRAY wax. (a 24 oz spray bottle) This is the exact one: http://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-NXT-G.../dp/B000CNK280

Now I am afraid to use NuFinish on my black camry because when it dries its white powdery susbstance.

I am thinking that the meguiars NXT spray way is the safest thing to try on my camry which already has a pretty good gloss.

(besides that nufinish bottole I have, I have not opened it in about 2 years, it might be dried and hard by now )

Nu-Finish is OK, but IMO it doesn't last a year. I have yet to use any product that lasts much longer than 6 months. Nu-Finish is not a real good choice for dark colored paints. It can leave a milky finish.

NXT Spray Wax doesn't protect much. Most spray products are basically just a quick fix. It can be used to revitalize a real wax job, but I wouldn't use it as my only form of paint protection. If you want to buy wax off the shelf look for some Meguiars Yellow paste wax. Paste wax generally provides more depth and durability than liquid wax because it has more carnauba in it.
