3 questions: rim , stratches, door dings

ONE> is it possible to fix or paint over a rim thats been scraped because of curbs? i have those black custom 18's with a silver lip. the "lip" part is scraped just a little. Its not that noticable but at the same time it kills the overall appearance of my automobile.

TWO> because of poor paint/car wash maintaince i noticed several stratches, ALL OVEr my vehicle. I tried Menguiar stratch-X and it doesnt work. I guess my stratches are deeper than I thought. Its a 05 corolla too! Do i need a complete new paint job? any suggestions?

THREE> any remedy on those small car door dings? I have a lot of those too.

Got pics?

If they are swirls and brush-type scratches in the clear coat, you should be able to make major improvements with a buffer and some compound with mild abrasives (i.e., SSR 2.5 or 3), and some glaze to fill in some of the imperfections. I'd think you'd have to follow a multi-step, comprehensive detail on the paint including clay bar, abrasive compound, glaze, cleanser/AIO, and sealant.

If they are clear through/past the paint, it's probably beyond the average DIY job. You could have a PDR guy pull out any dents, and probably handle the light scratches/scuffs, but if it's truely a "ding", only touch-up or sanding is going to get it out.

Yes it is possible. Find a wheel repair shop in your area by googling it or something.

How are you applying ScratchX? Did you just wipe it on and then wipe it off? Use the Meguiar's applicator pad and really work it in. Only way to remove scratches is by taking a bit off of everything around the scratch. Thats how those products work. Ive used scratchx and it worked really well for me. Just use some elbow grease.
