What are the uses of a microfiber wash mitt?

I copped one for $1.24 at Target. It's made by Vroom brand, and it feels high quality to me, it also has a very high nap. The thing is that I derno what to use it for. Is it good for washing? drying? waxing?

I think I've seen that one... orange "tassles" of microfiber?

If so, it's simplya a wash mitt... though I suppose you could use it for interior dusting.

I like the Premium Vroom towels (both orange and gray) for their bargain price, but I have not tried the mitt.

I personally like sheepskin for washing.

Oh, and Vroom is Target's house brand, if you didn't figure that out yet.

I don't really like to wash with MF mitts. MF holds on to dirt. You want to be able to rinse out dirt between body panels. I would use it as a dust mitt. IMO, MF should be used for drying, and buffing off wax and polish.

Thanks to you guys again. I'm learning so much. Hahhaha. I choose to get Target house brands because they are of better quality and style than Walmart's. See, Target is a "discould department store." Well yeah, I already have an ultra plush wash mitt for washing, and I got the Super Smooth Clay Bar kit yesterday fro $18..I had to sneak it into the car cuz of my mom, lmao. Now I'm saving up for Meguiar's water magnet towel, and some more applicator pads, or maybe an applicator mit. Again, thanks a lot for your help!

Sheepskin mits for washing and the mf mit or mf towels (I prefer the towels) for drying. Also make sure you get a grit guard so you dont put swirls into your paint. Google it and youll find info.

I'd recommend the large Vroom drying towel before I'd recommend the Water Magnet. But there are other options, to be sure.

As waffle-weave towels go, the Water Magnet I have is quite rough-feeling, and I have retired it from car use to dry my shower. I like the gray Mothers microfiber waffle weave towels (both the drying and the wheel/jamb), and I also really like the Paradise Waffle Weave towels from Detailer's Paradise (detailersparadise.com).

The Grit Guard is a good idea, but if you're on a budget (and obviously you are), at least keep the mitt out of the bottom of the bucket in the meantime (I lay mine on the edge, as my Grit Guard's on backorder).

I'd skip the applicator mitt, but pads are a great idea and offer more uniform pressure for optimal application.

Of course I'm on low budget...I'm 15 man. Hahaahha. But fo rmy first job, I'd like to be a detailer, or a lot guy, yeah know, the people who clean and wash the cars in the dealerships...lol. I save up my lunch money which is $5 a day and I do other people's HW (there are these 2 girls, lol) so I make like $15 a day which translates to $75 a week.
