I machine wash warm in liquid detergent followed by a cold rinse. I use color-safe (non-chlorine) bleach if I have a bunch that are really soiled. Sometimes I'll let the wash soak for a while. If it seems there's excessive product build-up, I'll use a half cup of white vinegar in the rinse, or run it in an additional cycle.
Always wash only microfibers together to avoid linting from other fabrics.
Tumble dry medium temperature in gentle mode with those nubby dryer softener balls... really fluffs them up.
Lay flat on a clean surface and inspect for "slivers," fold and keep clean until their next use.
Hand washing and hang drying doesn't make any sense to me... these aren't lace panties... like most fabrics, they seem to like agitation to get rid of the soil.
1.Warm wash with LIQUID laundry detergent or Sonus microfiber wash and cold rinse and if you can add a second rinse
2.Dry to damp (over drying will ruin a MF towel as the ends may harden
An ounce of vinegar in the rinse cycle fluffs the towels up as well. I only use vinegar every third wash. How to care for MF towels]
Another thing to be aware of is tiney rocks or shavings that can get stuck in them. I use to throw the mico towel with the rest of the rags to be washed. I now put them in a bag and wash them seperately.
i wash my car towels seperately. wash them with mild LIQUID detergent on HOT cycle first and the second cycle will be with cold water. Then after they are really spun dry in the washer...I take the most damn ones and lay them on the washer. (or by the showe curtain rod (i don't have a clothes line)....by next day, they all are dry (minus the part when wifee throws them on the garage floor when i forget to pick them up the next day...).
