I've heard good things about this. But I'm not sure if $10 is worth it. SO has anybody ever tried this? I hate drying the cars with regular towels..I do it lightly though so it doesn't scratch the paint. Thanks.
I've been using Absorbers since the early 90s. I have 1 for around the house and each car has it's own. It's the best dryer you can get.
Also check Walmart, they're only $8 there.
werd.... i have 2 for my car.... one new one for the painted portion of the car and an older one for my rims.... i usually buy a new one every yr to replace the older ones (which would usually be used for 2 yrs)
i love my absorber....dries awesome! i have had it for 2 years now and it dries just like the day i bought it! highly recommended!

I have gone thorugh one absorber over 4 years of repeated use and purchased a second early last year. Great product, I prefer it over the chamois by far.
Nowadays i use a waffle weave towel purchased at an online detailing site. I find it works better in drying and gentler on the paint. Because the material is softer than the absorber, you can sense if there's any debris caught on the material before you drag it across yoru paint. The absorber didnt offer this as the material is more rubbery.
Either way, you cant go wrong with either product.
Yup I LOVE 'EM!!! I usually dry the car w/ it then follow it up w/ a micro fiber towel. I gotta go buy a new one right now. It's been a pain drying the car w/out one.
One of the best things about the Absorber is that you just chuck it in the wash and it comes out great. No need to dry, as storing them damp makes them ready to suck up the water right away.
