4th Generation Touch up

I have a couple of little scrathes and chips on my car, i got the little bottle of 1C8 silver paint, it has a brush and ball point tip. Has anyone done this or know how exactly to do it? Do i simply just brush it on and wait, or do i have to buff or polish it after it dry's. Anyone have success touching up scrathes?

If it's clean then just put a bit of the paint in the chip. (I sometimes use a toothpick for really small chips.) Don't overdo it. Let it dry and then add more layers letting each dry until you've filled the chip. I keep a soft rag or paper towel to wipe off any paint that gets on the good surface. It may take numerous layers to fill the spot. Some touch up paints require a clearcoat touch up when finished to match better. For larger fixes you may want or need to buff with a finish or cleaning polish. Hopefully others can add to this as I'm not a pro, this is just what I do.
