Sonus Polycharger

Our Mod.PB has asked for a review of the Polycharger from Sonus USA.

I am pleased to announce a new revolutionary wax/sealant additive.
This additive will make any liquid wax or sealant even more durable.
We are talking almost permanent!
The same shine your favorite wax will still shine through( ) but will last a LOT longer.
Also included is the Polycharger for your favorite quick detail spray!
It will boost the length of your wax or sealant every time you use your detail spray.

To use simply follow the instruction sheet to add the correct amount of polycharger with the included dropper to the mixing bottle then add your wax to the mixing bottle. Then apply as normal.

(Water based sealants like Klasse AIO and SG and Jeff W> need the H20 based wax booster
The H20 Polycharger is also the one you use for detail sprays)
When used with the detail sprays it adds durability to the wax or sealant you already have applied!

The kit comes with:
1. Booklet explaining the benefits
1. Polycharger wax additive
1.Polycharger additive for detail sprays
2 droppers
2 mixing bottles
1.Mixing direction sheet

First off how much does it cost? And how long will this protection last? Stated that it gives almost permanent protection, permanent is a long time, almost permanent is a variable. A sample to be given out to be tested by a knowledgable TN host I elect PB to test it and give his honest opinion. Sorry for sounding a little synical most things that seem to good to be true, arent true.

I see a sales pitch but nowhere do I see a review.

Why is it that a seller of Sonus products is here to pitch a product that's not even available yet?

And what makes this product the magic ingredient that's missing from every car care product out there??? I would presume that the dozens of car care product makers out there have a particular reason for their formulas.

PB asked for it.
I can't at the present do a review(due to 30 degree weather here)
It is available. The base kit is $75.00
Each product separately is $39.00
Its as ADDITIVE that can be added to any liquid wax to prolong the protection.
They offer a money back guarantee if not satisfied.
I can send a sample to PB but I have to find a glass bottle and plastic bottle to send him.

More later.

$75! That sh t better last into the next millenium for that price. Please send PB a sample to test so he can give us his opinion, for that kind of money that ADDITIVE better cook, clean and do the laundry too. Whats the difference between a base kit and a seperate product? If you want send me a free sample or 2 and I'll qaurantee to say its the bomb,if it aint I'll send it back to you so you can get the money back.

Thanks for posting the info I was inquiring about. I will admit that this product seems kind of "gimmicky" at first glance, but David (Autopias owner) only sells stuff top notch stuff, and he stands behind his products. I've never regreted buying anything from Autopia.

The price is really not that bad if you consider how it's diluted and how long it lasts, supposedly. One bottle should last years. $75 is nothing for a serious detailer. I spend at least $500 a year on detailing products/equipment.

I'd be happy to try a sample and post the results. I'd love to try it with some Four Star Ulitmate Paint Protection and Poor Boys EXP, which are both great waxes that give lots of depth and shine, but they could use some added durability. If you're using expensive wax then this additive could pay for itself in a year. Plus the convenience of not having to wax as often.

I agree this product must be aimed at high end detailing people, but $75 dollars for an unproven product is quite high even with a money back quarantee. For instance A Klasse Kit cost $45 includes 10oz. Klasse AIO,17Oz. Klasse High gloss sealant,1 Micro Towel,2 Foam applicators,2 Terry cloth applicators = 6-12months premium protection proven, for almost half the price and when used on one vehicle there should be plenty of applications out of the kit. In the end the additive should well give over 13+months of protection if not more, in conjunction with the product of your choice to be a cost effective ,hopefully that new product has a no questions asked money back quarantee for the weekend detailers.

Autopia is sending me a free kit. I'll mix it with different waxes and detail sprays, and I'll post the results. I'll try the various waxes on different vehicles, and keep an eye on the wax's durability. Thanks Autopia!

Now all I need is some good weather. This snow and salt is killin me. My truck is beggin for a good polish and wax right now.

Thumbs up Used it this weekend

I've lurked for a long time reading all the posts and appreciate all of the info that the different forums have given me. It's my 1st time...

I used the Polycharger this weekend on a red 2006 350z (friends) and my wife's cosmic blue 2004 Solara. It was easy to use - I mixed it with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. I used 2 oz of wax with 4 droppers from the Polycharger - an oily green liquid. I only ordered the CH2 kit and not the H2O combo kit and I preordered it from autogeek.net. It was $32 on preorder. It came with 3 dropper bottles that are basically trashed after you use them as I don't think the one I used is coming clean. Ever.

The Z was the test car for this stuff. My friend got his car done at a local car wash and wax place ($40 not well spent) and it left his basically new car with horrible spiderwebbing and some deep scratches. Needless to say I did all the prep work to get the car to the point that I could use the Polycharger w/ the sealant. I used a Porter Cable 7424HD to apply it. It went on like normal sealant/wax. I did the whole car and let it sit for an hour in the garage. It came off very easy with the lambswool leveling pad and microfiber bonnets. Blah, blah, blah...how did it look: it looked good. Very shiny and silky smooth. The bigger thing was (in theory at this point) getting it to last for 8-12 months as I don't like doing things in the garage in the heat.

I can post some pictures if you can tell me how to get them off my verizon phone.

I got my kit today. Can't wait to use it. I'll try to keep my bottles and eye droppers clean. PolyCharger supposedly gets hard when exposed to air for several hours.

Today I got my truck clayed top to bottom, and then polished with Sonus Swirlbuster. Tonight I will apply the Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection and PolyCharger. I'm excited.

SOunds great! It's still -15 deg. here.
I thought of taking my tailgate off the truck and bringing in the house but I would have to wash it in the shower and the Wife has been home all day...... She hates when I use the shower to wash tailgates, wheels, and other car parts in the winter so I can try a new product. Next week its supposed to hit 50+ !
Tell us how it applies.
