USA Clay Baring Pre Klasse AIO?

Would it be a good idea to clay bar my truck prior to using Klasse AIO since AIO removes alot of contaminents from the surface itself or would clay baring enchance it even more? Ive clay bared the truck last year and its still shimmering well but if it helps I will do it again, also would it be okay to use a sealant other than Klasse Glaze Sealant in conjunction with the AIO I have almost a full bottle of DP Spray Surface Shield paint sealant I would like to use up,or does Klasse work better in conjunction with its own products?

Disclaimer: I've got no first-hand experience with this AIO.

However, I'm probably not stretching too far out there in saying that if you have surface contaminants (and we all do), that you are best off to clay before you use any polish or cleaner wax.

Yeah, I would clay since it's been a year since you did it last. AIO doesn't really have enough polishing power to thoroughly clean a non-clayed surface. It only takes about 30 minutes to clay a car anyway.

You can put your DP on top of the AIO, but wait at least 24 hours to let the AIO cure before applying the DP. Klasse AIO and SG both need some curing time before being topped with another layer of protectant

Thanx again Big Time,Clay,AIO,24hrs.,DP Sealant,I also have a can of Meguires Gold Class to use as a final coat it has some Carnuba in it hopefully that would be a good move,Ive previously used a final topper of the NXT paste on my paint Toyotas Lunar Mist Metalic it kind of mutes or tames it. Good weathers coming I want this truck to look the best its ever been this Spring, just like that Chef Emeril says I'm going to crank it up another knotch.

NXT is a cleaner wax so do not use that as a final coat because it can strip glaze or whatever you've put on the car up to that point.

I've never used Meguiar's Gold Class so I don't know about that one.

I know for certain that Meguiars High Tech Yellow wax is not a cleaner wax so that would be better as a final coat.

NXT paste is a cleaner wax! How come it doesnt say so on the can,I thought it was just a full synethic blend of wax w/o any natural ingredients. This wouldnt strip my sealant that was applied under though? Right

NXT Tech Wax is indeed considered a cleaner wax -- it says it will "visually eliminate fine swirls" -- which means it's a cleaner wax.

Virtually everything is a cleaner wax unless it says "pure carnauba wax" or somehow designates "no polishes" or "no cleaners" or some such language in the description.

Yeah... the industry's got some goofy terms and it's confusing to the consumer.

Would using NXT or Meguires Gold Class as a final topper after using AIO and Sealant be detrimental to my hard work because of the cleaning action both contain,Gold Class states removes swirls also and also must do cleaner/wax duty. Thanx again I had no idea either product were cleaner/waxs and have used both for a couple of years,I thought if a cleaner/wax it would be out right stated on the product somewhere both these have no indication on the can they are. Its going to be good weather tomorrow 45 deg. East coast and sunny perfect for a wash and claybar and I'LL see how good this Klasse AIO looks.

I think I'd stop after AIO and the Sealant.

Again, using a cleaner wax after a sealant doesn't make sense.

No wonder my paint looked a little muted using the NXT after sealant it might have stripped the sealant down, dang. Anybody want some cleaner/wax,I need carnuba.

There a very limited selection of pure waxes that you can find in stores. The two that I know for certain are pure waxes are: Mother's California Gold Pure Carnauba Wax and Meguiars Hi-Tech Yellow Wax #26.
