What will get rid of scratches?

Well previously I found out that I have some serveral scratches and scuffs around my car. This could be due to the winter weather where ice fall and etc etc. I was wondering if anyone can prescribe me some good scratch removal that wont damage my paint(of course) and can be bought from canadian tire or any other major auto stores. I'm asking this cuz I also want some personal feedback. Cuz if I go and ask the seller he wouldnt know one thing about it and I end up buying and the outcome is bad.

Also my scratches arent tooo deep to the point where you see the black/silver layer which is the first coat that sprayed to the car(I guess). It's all light scratches and scuffs.

Please help me out! Looking at these scratches hurts me to look at me car

Thanks

You need polish and a buffer. Read some of the polishing and buffer threads here. Some have pics and videos.

You can try Meguiars ScratchX by hand, but it won't produce the results of a buffer and polish.
