Tape residue on paint? How to remove it safely?

Someone broke my window so I had to tape it while it was raining. Unfortunately, now there is tape residue on the car around the window.

How do I remove it without stripping my paint? Would Goo gone be safe for car paint?

Goo Gone is my favorite remedy. Some other solvents are not safe to use on some paints, but Goo Gone is the safest product I've used. Wax after.

Yeah, Goo Gone or maybe WD-40. WD-40 will leave an oily residue though. It can be cleaned off with alcohol.

I know I had that same problem; my mom knocked out 1 of my windows with the lawn mower. I had to pay $200 to get it repaired. The best thing I'd use is Label & Sticker Remover. There might be some in Advanced Auto Parts, but Goo Gone works as well especially on windows with tape residue.
