Zaino alternative

I've been a Zaino guy for a couple of years. I'm considering a switch that would still be easy to apply and remove, and last a long time (and for the wife grape scent would be a plus).

I don't like having to mix the Zaino accelerator - and the fact that the accelerator dries up after a while meaning I have to repurchase.

From some of the reading I've done here Klasse seems like a possible option.

For what it's worth I'm detailing my wifes 04 4runner, and my 06 Tacoma 3-4 times a year. The 4runner is gold, the Tacoma is silver so I want them to look good, but they are not as demanding as black vehicles. Bottom line is easy application and lasting protection are most important.

Thanks in advance.

TL

Id go with Klasse AIO and Sealant for the Silver Tacoma,I have a 2004 Lunar Mist Silver Tacoma TRD and use Klasse AIO and ,Detailers Pride Spray Sealant on top. One thing Ive noticed with Silver is it doesnt have any pop to the color so I feel using a carnuba wax over sealant isnt going to help set off my trucks color in any great way,so I reapply sealant coats it gives a nice shiny clean look but no depth, youve probably already noticed this with your truck,I'd definetly go Klasse Twins for ease, durability and cost $$ on both trucks.

I got Klasse AIO at Autogeek.net sometimes their on sale ,also when you use the AIO it can go on everthing plastic, windshield, chrome it does great on black plastic matte pieces like bumper step, rear view mirror covers and front valance cleans, grill it up gets rid of white residues from old waxs makes the piece look clean and detailed and protected, the sealant just goes on the painted surfaces. Another shop is Autopia.net,also I recommend doing a good clay job on truck before applications.

I read a Klasse application guide which makes it sound like the SG is applied after the AIO. I've read other posts that made it sound like the opposite was recommended. Anyone have the definitive answer.

Thanks

AIO first. Wait 12-24 hours. Then apply SG.

I've used the Klasse AIO/SG combo before, not the best reflection in my opinion. It's definitely going to be bulletproof and give you one of the best protections, but you might want to look at something else if you want the best shine.

I'd recommend XMT Glaze and Pinnacle Souveran for best shine and easiest application.

But you said you wanted lasting protection, so I'd recommend the Klasse twins.

I use Meguiar's #21 Synthetic Sealant, it's a great product. It has good durability and shine.

I tried Liquid Glass recently and can't believe why I waited so long to try it. They need to have a marketing team redo the container and make it look up to date. Anyhow, I found Liquid Glass just as easy to apply as any liquid wax, much easier to take off, and it builds up a glossy shine that the name brand waxes I have tried failed to do. It is not cheap, but a little goes a long way. I must have put on half a dozen coats in the past week.

Gen6

A few days ago I just finished detailing my car with Tropi-Care clay and sealant. It turned out great.

www.tropi-care.com

I've heard this brand compared to Zaino and the results are comparable at a lesser price.

I also use Meguiar's and 3M products too.
