Where to store your wax?

Where do you guys normally keep your polishes and waxes? Indoors? Outdoors?

I just keep mine on a shelf in the garage, is this a bad idea?

Is there a shelf life for these products?

That's OK as long as your garage doesn't get too hot. Try to keep your stuff in a cabinet and out of the sun. Keep the lids tight.

I haven't really had any issues with wax, but I know that some detail sprays and tire sprays can get floaters and mildew-like stuff in there after a while. It just depends on what it's made of.

dont leave them in your trunk. learned that the hard way.

wax turned to liquid and just went to crap. didnt work right again next time i tried to use it.

now i leave them in the pantry next to the soup...

Some may say not to let them freeze. My garage does get cold enough in winter sometimes to freeze.

Basements or pantries are nice. Remember to shake up your liquids after storage for a while, especially waxes and polishes.

Never let chemicals like waxes and polishes freeze. Extremes, whether hot or cold, are just plain bad.
