I got one earlier this spring and it's worked great for me. It doesn't always absorb 100% of the water, but what it leaves dries without any water spots. I've thought about buying a 2nd one and trying to talk my g/f into helping me dry off our cars before I polish and wax them.

i have used them for many years. cant find anything that drys as good with out leaving water behind. you just have to make sure you clean them every so often as to not scratch the paint.

I feel that a quality micro fiber towel works as good or even better.

I have an absorber but it sits on the shelf.

These days I only use waffle-weave microfiber towels. I've been getting the Mothers foam-core drying towel from Autozone (here in So. Cal they have them in the back of the store) and Super Autobacs (a local boutique shop in Stanton). Other waffle-weave towels I would only get online.

Kragen and K-Mart have a huge gold ultra-plush drying towel from Viking that's also very good.

Heck, I remember when I was a kid and a chamois was the cat's meow... now I've got more microfiber towels than I have changes of underwear!

i have an absorber and really like it. it absorbs water really good. when drying, i just press it down in pile of waters to get absorbed. never use it as wipe to avoid any marring or scratches.

I've got a few of those MF towels and they are the freakin bomb! Big enough to dry my whole truck almost.

Why not just use the MF towel to begin with?

I just ordered a Guzzler Triple Kit from Autogeek for a buddy who's been using Costco towels. Even though I already gave him some Mothers towels, with 4 cars, he could use extras (since he seem to be "borrowing" mine).

Point being, friends don't let friends use anything but microfiber on their rides!
