paint problem with 06 Camry, help :-(

Ok, cleaning the car the other day I see a little something that wasnt there, brush it lightly with my finger the paint came off!
This seems to be only in one area, problem is the car is only 1.5 years old, that part has never been repainted or in an accident, never closely pressure washed, washed waxed every couple of weeks by hand or porter cable , the only bad thing I rememeber recently is that it sat under some trees for 2-3 weeks in a parking lot and it rained etc (trust me I didn't put it there, the cops did heh)
but im in New England so the weather isn't the best but I try to keep up the look and the condition of my exterior any idea why this would happen, and any tips what the best way to repair it would be?
I'm taking off the bumper in the next week probably to ct out the fog light holes and put those in, I was thinking cover the other areas and spray paint the black?
I'm guessing it's ABS plastic...should be prepped before the factory paint
let me know of anything you can think of

That should be under warranty. Take it to the dealership to get it repainted.

my dad had the same problem with the original bumper on his 01 avalon. the factory didnt clean off the mold release agent, so the paint flaked off like you wouldnt beleive. Toyota paid for a brand new bumper and the peeling/flaking is nolonger an issue.

I wonder if they would get a new bumper, maybe I could play this to my advantage and get the japanese bumper with the foglight cut outs already :-D will have to go down there maybe today

so the bumper got replainted, in the process someone from the shop or the dealership stole my ipod from the glove compartment...so basically I just paid $300 for the paint...toyota says they're not responsible they'll give the body shop a call but I don't see this going anywhere =/
any suggestions on this? heh
the bumper looks swell though time to get cutting next week for the fog lights =/
