Darken/Color Vinyle, How?

The vinyl in my car has been lightened a lot due to sun exposure and abuse and it also has some white streaks. The person who owned it before me never really took care of it. The vinyl itself is still good but I would like to redue it.

Does anyone know how to darken it? Or maybe even repaint it? I'm not quite sure what to do or how to go about this.

Thanks!

Get a vinyl/trim dressing. I suggest meguiar's gold class trim detailer, all season dressing, or if those dont work look for a product called BLACK WOW. But check out autodetailingsolutions.com for a ton of good stuff for cheap as can be.

First reply, w00t!

Those seem like good suggestions. I'll try them out and see....I can understand it restoring the color but will that remove white streaks and stuff caused from rubbing against it?

BTW: Finding that black wow stuff was a pain in the ass. Here's the only place I could find it in case anyone else is interested.

White spots? Only trying could tell. I'd try some meguiar's M39 its a cleaner only and will get alot of stuff out of trim and vinyl! Then top it with one of the dressings I said. M40 is good too. This is all pro line stuff if you can find it. And black wow works great from what I've heard but I've heard it is VERY oily and greasy.. therefore only a small amount is needed when used.
