Gen5 Professional Detailing

I was wondering if going to a detailing center to fix the swirls all around my 05 camry worth it and a couple of mild scratches. Plus a little of messed up touch up paint that could be removed.

How high is the sky? How deep is the sea?

What is worth it? Cheaper than a new paint job?

For me, I can clean my own car, thank you, and even wax and polish if need be. Had a brother in law years ago who liked to have his car detailed weekly. He was a real ass and eventually his wife figured it out as well, so I have a prejudice about the whole detailing thing. You get it detailed the week before you sell it and not before. Otherwise if the paint is that bad, blow 6 grand and get a paint job.

There's humor in everything we do. Sometimes we just have to work hard to find it.

For the price of one professional detailing, you could buy yourself a Porter Cable 7424 and supplies to do it yourself. That's what I finally decided and just bought my PC.

After that initial purchase, you can do great detailing yourself for just the price of the polishes, etc. You get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. You get to decide how good a job gets done, etc. You can amaze your family and friends. The list of benefits goes on
