Well about a mouth ago I decided to remove the scratches in my cars clearcoat using Meguiars ScratchX. After doing that I followed it up with a coat of Meguiars NXT car wax. After the job was finished I parked in the sun to see my work and I was very pleased with the results. The scratches were practically invisable. Since then every week I would spray the car with Meguiars Quick Detailer and wipe the the dust off using a microfiber towel just to keep the nice shine. Well today at college I noticed that all the scratches are back and look just as bad as before. So my question is; am I the one to blame for all these scratches again. I would hate to know that its my fault when I try so hard to keep my car spotless.

Thanks for any help.
I guess the question is did you remove the scratches or just fill them in? If they are 'back', then they never left.

Are you sure they aren't new ones?
Yea, I'm pretty sure they are not new ones. There the type of scratches that you get when you bring your car through those gas station car washes and I would never go through one of those.

Go to Google and type:
ScratchX fillers
and read some of the articles that come up and you will find out why your scratches came back.
Anyway, SYSTEM ONE X3 Cutting Polish has no fillers in it. We remove scratches; we don't fill them in. When we're done polishing, the paint is perfect and you will never see any scratches 'return'. Oh and we GUARANTEE IT too.
Inferior microfibers might cause scratches...but if the only scratches you are dealing with are the ones you thought you got rid of...then I doubt they are from the microfibers. Also, if your car is the one shown in your signature, it is a pretty light color and scratches caused by microfibers would be pretty tough to see.
How does the rest of the car look? If the microfibers are to blame, your whole car should be showing scratches.
By the way, call me conservative, but I am not a fan of keeping a vehicle clean by using a quick detailer. The only time I quick detail my truck is to remove fingerprints or water stains from a wash the night before. If it's dirty, it gets soap and water.
Thanks for the advice man, the rest of the car seems to be fine except for the sides. When you look at the rear quarter panel you can see a bunch of white looking scratches. I think I probably wiped off the scratch filler and thats why I'm seeing the scratches again.
