Washing an engine bay

I have a quick question.

What are some safety tips before I power wash under the hood? It's an old truck and I'm kinda worried about electrical problems.

Should I keep the truck running? Put a bag over the fuse box? Or should I not be worrying?

Thanks

Search on posts from OCDetails or PM him. Sorry, I'm too lazy to find his write-up on engine bay detailing for you.
