Question 2008 Rav4 First Waxing

I just took delivery of my 2008 Rav in Blizzard Pearl on Oct. 18th. I trying to find out how long do I have to wait before I can wax it up here in the North East. (NYC). I want to protect it from the elements. I will be using RejeX surface treatment instead of wax. It is suppose to be far superior than wax.

You can wax your Rav the day you take it home. The paint and clearcoat has already cured enough for you to maintain it. Not sure about the RejeX though.

Moved to detailing forum...

Rejex is a victim of over hyped marketing.
I've looked at the contents in the bottle and sampled it. A little on the petro smell side. It has a real strong chemical smell while you're using it. It has a nice consistency, creamy texture.
Its a keeper, but probably not any better then most of the other quality items mentioned with frequency here. It's a protectant with good durability, but it's not any better than a Zaino product.

A disadvantage to Rejex is trying to keep it out the weather for 12 to 24 hours while it crosslink’s.
