Cracking dash (56k lol at you)

I bought my Camry with the cracked dash. It's really about the thing that's wrong with the car (except for the clock always saying 1:00).

My mechanic said that I could use a vinyl filler and paint it. I don't care what I have to do, or if it takes me all day, I'll do it.

What do you all think? How much do you think it'll cost versus buying a dash from a wrecker?

I've never been a huge fan of the "dash mats", but for a dash in that condition, it might be a good option. They're pretty inexpensive and very easy to install.

I've never seen a dash that's been filled and painted as you described, so I can't comment on how good a job is possible with that.

I have a dash mat by Cover King in my 96. I'm pleased with it, and how it looks and fits. I chose a Black one. Thats probably going to be the cheapest way to fix ur problem!

U can kinda see it in this ole pic
