What's the best way to clean your seats?

The front buckets, that is.

I was thinking of either steam cleaning them or unbolting them from the car and blasting it with a pressure washer.

Are there any other alternatives that you have tried that were successful?

Please provide a step-by-step if possible, I'm a noob when it comes to interior detailing

Oops, forgot to mention that.

They are cloth seats.

The best way I have done it is to use a carpet steam cleaner. I used the upholstry attachment and just enough liquid to get it clean. I was really suprised at the color of the solution as it was getting sucked back in through the extraction tube. I kept thinking, wow, what was spilled there? Just make sure to suck out as much water as possible so the seats dry quickly.

That seems like a good way to go about cleaning them.

Are there any other alternatives?

I don't really want to wait until next summer but at the same time I don't want my seats to rot or develop mold if I clean them now.

You shouldn't have any problems with moisture if you extract the cleaning solution. The seats will end up almost dry to the touch. Thats what you want to acheive.
