Berries, Tar, etc.... Go away!

Every season, there is alot of berries that fall on the road. Its PITA to get them off! State workers, filling up the potholes, new paving etc... Tiny specs of tar goes on your vehicle....

How do you get them off! I have alot, it bothers the crap out of me!

I tried simple green, wd40, pressure washer etc...

Bad thing is that, while i'm on my way to work, the berries drys up, so its even worse to get it off!

Any help is appreciated!

Hey deff808,

I would suggest starting out with the Adam's All Purpose Cleaner and a Plush micro Fiber Towel. Then Detail Spray the area and Clay Bar the area. Finish that up with a Revive Polish and a Butter Wax on the entire truck.

Check out the Adam's website if you need any products!!

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Your truck is an 05. Have you ever clayed it? If you haven't then you need to. Claying will get those surface contaminants off.

Go to the exterior detailing sticky and read the section about claying.

Claying should be a good way to remove those objects.

Make sure you protect it with some sealant or wax after claying to try to protect the car against those types of contaminants.
