94 Camry moulding

I have a two door Camry and I need to remove the door moulding. This is put on with an adhesive and I would like to re-use the moulding so, when removing it, I don't want to destroy it or the paint under it. I was thinking of removing the door panel and hitting it with some heat from the back. Any ideas??
I will also need to reinstall this moulding so what is the best adhesive???
Any help will be appreciated.

I'd definitely swing by your reputable local body shop, and pay them to do this for you. For less than the cost of the products you'll need, plus the learning curve/ damage potential, they can handle this for you.

If a body shop person is here on the forum, and has some excellent technique and product recommendations, including photos and/or videos of the process, by all means, give it a go!

$.02 from a do-it-myselfer that has paid double on many occasions, and realized that I should have hired the people with the tools, products, technique and experience in the first place.

Thanks for the replys and you are probably right about having it done by someone who knows what they are doing. I was surprized they were glued....
Under the mounding in the center on the door there is a good size rust spot. It is not thru, but it does look bad.......

Ahhh, I see. So are you going to repair the rust spot? That would be a VERY good thing to have repaired, as we have all seen how rapidly rust grows. Faster than cancer in the human body, which is quite fast.

I don't know if those are glued or if they're held on with the same automotive adhesive tape that they use on the badging. You might try posting in the Gen3/Gen4 Camry forum. Chances are, somebody there has removed theirs before.

Sounds like it's held on with tape similar to the badging. If that's the case you should be able to take it off by warming it up really well with a hair dryer, then using fishing line to cut it off just like you would do to debadge a car. According to that thread and a couple of others I saw, some were able to just gently pull it off after warming it up.
