How to use a clay bar?

I just bought a clay bar and wonder how should I use it correctly. I want to use it to remove bug marks, tiny tars marks from pavement.

Should I use the clay bar like the eraser?

Hey niceguy,

First off did you get a Lubricant with your clay bar?

Adam's has a couple of good Clay Bar procedures on our website; check out the link.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks,

I read some of other threads, and know how to use it now. How about after I use it for the first time? Should I clean it with water, let it dry, and put it back in the zip-lock bag, so it can be used again next time?

Hey niceguy,

Just fold the bar over itself a couple of times and then replace it to its air tight bag, pouch, cup?

Let me know if that helps!

Thanks,
