What is the best way to clean my black cloth (sport edition) interior?

I recently got a nice new black Sport Edition 4Runner after driving my '92 4Runner for 10 years. I am really happy with it and hope to make it run and look good for another ten.

I have a few small spots (possibly food, dead skin rub-off, etc) on my black cloth seats and black cloth area behind the door handles I would like to remove.

I have tried to use a rag, my fingernail, a touch of water, etc to remove these small spots. Either they dont work, or leave the area looking a little roughed up when I am done.

What do you guys use to effectively clean spots from black seat cloth and not wear the fabric too much if at all?

Thanks!

I have a sport as well. I just vacuum mine out and that cleans everything up (including the door panels).
