4th Generation Enginebay cleaning question

I keep my exterior and interior of my car in mint condition. dedicating a Sunday to washing. But i thought maybe i should pay some attention to the engine bay.

I own a Gen4 Camry and i was wondering if i just spray degreaser in there and spray away then scrub and hose off, will it be okay or will i stuff something up?

Any particular brand of degreaser better than the other? I plan on trying it out tomorrow. Will cleaning it do anything else than make it look nice?

Id try an adams product but i live in Australia, dont think anyone stocks it here

Simple green, a few careful sprays of water and a water based dressing is the process I have used on numerous vehicles.

I'd dilute the simple green with water. Concentrated Simple Green can sometimes leave green residue on some plastics.
